I'm really enjoying learning how to make changes to my blog! I hope it won't confuse my followers by entitling it "Wisteria and Roses"! I wanted to change it on blogger, but I was afraid of losing everyone, so maybe this will work. I wanted a frame for the name, but I couldn't get the title inside of it, so I deleted it. I also want to change the color of the title, but I don't think I can. If any of you have any tips on these changes, feel free to let me know! I would really appreciate it!
I've been cooking again these past couple of days! Cooking is so much fun, it's just the clean-up I'm not fond of. Just don't look behind me into the kitchen cause I've got a mess!

After seeing house in the roses blog, her recipe for quiche inspired me to make my own. |

I used sun-dried tomatoes instead of peppers. Delicious! |

Yes, that's homemade banana pudding and I ate some! |

A cookbook I received as a Christmas present.(Thanks, Audra!) |

I made the delicious spaghetti and meatballs and they taste just like the ones at the restaurant! |
|
I cook dry beans every week. This week's beans are Great Northern. Delicious! |

More bread in the making! |
I want this picture at the heading of my blog. They are wisteria and roses.
I accomplished most of the things I wanted to do today except for making my Valentine's Day Banner. The night is still young, so if I get that kitchen cleaned up, I may still have time to do that! Thanks for reading and following my blog! Leave a comment when you can! Blessings from Bama!
Ah, pink roses, my absolute favorite! I love your background. I used free blog design tips at Sneaky Momma Blog Design when I changed mine. It's very easy to understand and I learned ALOT! Here is the link:

Yum, wish I lived around the corner, your cooking looks great! You'll have to let me know how you like your cookbook! Loving your Roses and excited to see all that's ahead here on Wisteria and Roses. The changes are all great so far!!!

If you're on blogger, just go to Design, Template Designer, then you can change your background, etc. Fiddle around with Advanced, too - it does a lot of different things. Its not so scary once you go in there and give it a try!
ReplyDeleteAll of your foodie items looks so yummy! The spaghetti looks like "restaurant quality!" Share some of the recipes if you get a chance, would love to try them! :)
ReplyDeleteHave you tried uploading your picture to picnik, which is free for the most part, and adding a frame and text to the picture? You can then save it just like a picture and upload it to your blog through the LAYOUT section. It's fun to play around with! I love your new background! Very pretty!
I love to cook too! As far as blog design goes, I finally paid $50 to have mine designed by someone who knows what they're doing! Looks like you are doing a great job though.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to experiment with the blog! I'm one of your new friends! Drop by to visit sometime!!
