Just some fun things I've been working on lately!

I hope to finish this C soon! It's going to be paper macheed!
I can hardly believe we're almost at the end of July! Time flies when we're having fun! I hope ya'll are having a fun summer, wherever you live! I really enjoy browsing the web for creative ideas for the girls. I have come across ideas to make shirts for them with their initial and a dolphin. The shirts are a neon green purchased for $1 each at Dollar Tree! I am so hooked on their dollar shirts! Better get them as soon as you see them cause they might not have your color or size next time you go! I had the hubs draw a dolphin and I used it to make a stencil on freezer paper. I traced over some monogram letters for the initials. I have never done this before, so I messed up on two of the shirts. The last one I did was the best. I went over the first two and made them better, but you can still see the runs. There are photos below you can see. I don't know what's up with the uploading of photos! They're all over the place! And it wouldn't let me upload the shirt pics! What?

There's that serious look again!

Good morning girls!

Riley sitting in her chair, eating her man's foot.

She didn't sit there long!

They are both, so adorable!

Win's adorable too!

Meet Paisley, another great-niece from the hubs side of the family!

A delicious healthy wrap and green juice!

The garden, well I should just call it a jungle! It is SO overgrown with weeds! And there are mosquitoes and little biting bugs that cause me not to want to do a thing out there! So annoying! The rain has been abundant here this summer, thus all the weeds! I did pull some cucumbers, since that bed is not as bad. I even got chiggers a few weeks ago! Not sure where those came from, could have been the grass before it got mowed! Oh well, every summer has it's unique complications! I learn from them each year, and implement what I learn the following year. The raised beds might not have such weeds if I hadn't used dirt from the woods. Next year I'll put down weed barrier of some sort: leaves, mulch, or whatever! The card board is helping between the beds, but I need to apply more. My garden is a work in progress that will never be complete, I don't think!

I hope to have more craft projects to share with ya'll soon! I'm really enjoying crafting now since I can't really garden! How is your garden growing? Has it been rainy or dry where you live? I appreciate you reading and commenting on this blog! Hope you all have a nice week! Blessings from Bama!

Grilled chicken and zucchini boats on the charcoal grill. Ran added some wood to the fire and made it smoky; a little too much smoke tasting for me.

We are having a Beautiful Summer!

The weather has been hot and humid, but mostly cloudy and overcast! That means when it's cloudy, there's almost always a nice breeze blowing! The breeze feels so nice with the warmth and humidity! I don't know when we've had a summer like this! The temps are have been in the upper eighties and low nineties, but usually this time of year the temps are in the upper nineties and above! We have had a shower almost everyday this summer which cools things down a bit if it's later in the day! If it rains early in the day and the sun comes out afterwards, the weather becomes really hot and humid! Or not! I'm just enjoying what we've got! Hope the weather is bearable where you are!

April is in the hospital with a bad kidney infection. Please pray that she'll get well quickly and get out of there! I'll be taking care of Win some while she's in there. In fact, Win and Riley are coming over today! Yasmine and Layla will be here Friday, so we'll all get to visit again!

Hope ya'll are having a good week and staying in where it's cool! I've been trying to eat healthier and get serious with my weight loss! I think it's working cause Ran told me I look like I lost some! Yay! It has to be working for the hubs to notice! Have a great weekend! Blessings from Bama!

Can you believe my Myer Lemon bush is blooming? The fertilizer worked!

Riley and her Mom, April.

Win is relaxing in the sun! Riley is having fun too!

My friend Leanne holding one of her baby goats. Isn't it cute!

Here's another baby. They are so adorable!

My first real life experience watching baby goats getting milk from their mother! So neat!

Isn't the miniature donkey cute?

Nigerian Dwarf buckling.

A nice view of the donkey.

Our friends, Leanne and Scot.

Me and Ran sitting in the extra large swing Scot made.

I'm learning to crochet again!

I didn't care for the browns and beige so I chose these colors instead. It will be an afghan throw.

Win and Riley swinging!

Oh! Win fell and had to get 3 stitches! She's all better now!

The girls have on some new outfits we got them at a consignment shop when we went to the beach.

The girls are all here! Yasmine can look so somber at times!

They love for uncle Ran to push them in the swing!

You jump, girl!

Don't you look at me like that with that Auburn hair-bow in your hair!

Some more sights from our Summer Vacation!

Wow, time sure has passed quickly this summer! There are school supplies already out at Walmart! School will start here in about a month, which signifies the end of summer. But not the summer temps! We are really having warm, humid days! Yesterday the sun came out in the afternoon and really steamed things up! Today started out sunny, but by noon the clouds had arrived along with some thunder. No rain yet, but it could any moment! I'm thankful for all the rain we've received this summer because it has helped us to have a more mild summer, if you want to call it that.

Things are more calm around here this week since everyone has gone home and the girls haven't been here yet. I miss them so when they aren't here! I think I have my camera more figured out now when it comes time for downloading and such. I would like to write another post this week since I have lots to share, but we'll see how things go. Have a great week! Blessings from Bama!

Me and Mom outside Captain Anderson's restaurant.

Look at that Gulf and that beautiful white sand!

What to eat, the most important decision! Mom and Dad at the Saltwater grill. That is one huge aquarium in the background, with beautiful saltwater fish!

I love this photo of us! Skylar is smiling!

This photo is a bit off but I love how Randy's blue eyes show up!

We were so excited when the dolphins started to play in the waves of the boat we were on! Randy took some really nice photos with the waterproof camera!

We like the dolphin photos!

Looks like you could reach out and touch him!

I love how clear the water was! That is a dolphin, not a shark.

One of our favorite restaurants!

The Sea Screamer, the boat we saw the dolphins on. If you ever go to Panama City Beach, please take the kids on this boat! Or just you and your better half or whoever!

Skylar picked up the hermit crab and let it take a walk on his hand! Don't tell him I shared this photo!

I'm not sure where we were here, but it was probably a restaurant!

Margaritaville was too crowded, so we just went across the street to Pompano Joe's! We didn't even have to wait and the food was terrific!

Not a bad photo for a waterproof camera!

Skylar takes it serious!

My Dad loves this!

Our 2013 Summer Vacation!

Was absolutely wonderful! We all had such a good time! The weather was great, the waves were just right, and you could see the bottom! I won't get in the water unless I can see the bottom. That way I know if a fish, shark, ray, or whatever swims by. The weather didn't get extremely hot until the last couple of days, but the clouds helped with that.

We ate out EVERY NIGHT! And I enjoyed ALL of it! I never thought I'd get tired of seafood, but by the end of the week, I was. It was so nice to come back home! The campground was very well kept as usual.

We celebrated the Fourth of July with the family and girls. There were hamburgers and hotdogs cooked on the grill, baked beans, and homemade vanilla ice cream. It was all good! I'm ready for someone to cook for me now.

The girls are here until tomorrow, so I'm writing this very quickly. I have a lot to share, but I will get back with ya'll next week. Have a safe weekend! Blessings from Bama!

Such a beautiful sight!

Not much beachfront on this end!

It gets less the further down you go.

We really liked this site!

A nice view!
