We have had the girls a lot during the month of July! They had such fun! We colored, cut, and made all kinds of crafty things! And of course, they got in the pool every chance they could. I miss them, as it's been a week since I saw them last! July was such a whirlwind!
The garden has grown up so that I can't get to the tomato plants because of the weeds! I plan on getting on my boots today and seeing what I can find. The grapes are hanging on the vines, and the apples have pulled the branches down. I just have to keep a watch on them to see when they are ripe. It's my first year for all these apples and grapes, so it's a learning curve for us.
I'm looking forward to this coming week since the temps are supposed to be in the lower nineties! They've been in the upper nineties but felt like 100's +! That's when living in the South is such a challenge! But somehow we make it through! Makes Fall such a refreshing time of year!

Poor Randy! Prayers for a complete e recovery with no complications. "Fimming" is so much fun! Hot humid here too and wet. We've had lots of rain this year. Your garden produce looks great.

DeleteOh Bama Girl! Glen and I just now had prayer for Randy! Is he better? I just now opened your post! So sorry! We could have been praying for him all along!!! So, he jumped into a river to save a man from drowning? What happened!?! Praise God for your kind natures! Hope it cools soon for you and hope Randy is now well! Hugs to you both, Cheeryshirley
ReplyDeleteHi Shirley! Sorry I'm so late replying! I've been crazy busy here! Thank you for the prayers! Please continue to pray for completer recovery and lower blood pressure, and no sleep apnea!Randy is so much better but still has a way to go. There was a fishing tournament and a man was flying on the water to get back to the weigh in and he hit a lot of waves from other boaters. It turned his boat 90" and threw the man into the river. When the man surfaced, he was unconscious and bleeding from the eye, mouth and ear. Randy got him to his boat where he and my dad hoisted the big man in. They got him to shore where the ambulance whisked him away. He was then air-lifted to Birmingham. We don't even know his name! The marine police said he's in recovery mode, although all the bones in his face was broken.
