My Dad's in the hospital!

My Dad went in for a heart cath. today, thinking they might have to do a stint. There were no blockages! He didn't need a stint! But the Aorta valve is almost closed! He could have passed out while driving! That's scary to think about! It was a shock to find this out, as that is like open heart surgery! He's having the Aorta valve replaced in the morning at 7:30, so I would appreciate ya'lls prayers! His name is Wayne Milam! He gets out of breath and weak when he walks for a little bit, and that is the reason. The blood couldn't get pumped out quick enough. Without this replacement, he would have about two years. The surgery should extend his life for much longer. Thank you so much for your prayers and concern!

I haven't seen any signs of the snake, and all of the eggs and chickens have been accounted for lately. Hubs said that I probably scared the snake so bad that it will never come back! I hope he's right, cause I won't be here much for the rest of the week! I hope to get back to blogging soon! I'll keep ya'll in touch! Blessings from Bama!

  1. I am sorry to hear about your Dad but glad they did catch it in time. I have an anerisym on my aorta but they say it is not big enough to do anything yet so they will keep checking. I hope your Dad recovers quickly. I said a prayer for him. Nancy
